I also purchased the same hard drive from ITBOX.com.au through their website rather than ebay to save some money. I thought it a good option, but have lived to regret it. It took over a month to receive it after paying in full and then once it arrived the remote control didn't work. It has taken me 3 months to have it replaced after they claim they had e-mailed me twice. However they could provide proof of it. I was relieved to finally have a working hard drive and media centre 4 months after the orginal purchase.

Well that lasted about 3 weeks. The hard drive now no longer works! And surprise surprise the ITBOX.com.au website has disappeared of the net and are no longer contactable. I have been sending an e-mail to them everyday to get an RA number and they won't respond. There isn't a phone number listed for them anywhere and I don't really know what the next step is. It's now cost close $350 and I have lost 900GB of data, including all my photo's.

I would avoid buying anything from them that may store your data on. Don't try to save the money, go to a reputable store that you will be able to get assistance from if something goes wrong. The heartache of lossing everything, just isn't worth it!

Often you will find ridiculous low prices from Asian eBayer's, and they charge ridiculously high prices for shipping and handling. This serves two purposes: 1) Decreased initial listing fee, 2) Entices buyers (or trick them) to shop.

I've always been perplexed at why people are willing to spend $1 on a bargain item but have to pay $20 shipping & handling. At that point, better to just go to your local BestBuy.
