First of all, sorry for updating the blog for a few days. It kind of gets hard when you are working nights for 7 straight days without a break.
I was working late one night about 10 days ago, and needed something quick and easy. As always, Pizza is my favourite and so far have tried out a few different places. I saw a scooter delivery guy at a 7 – eleven, and that’s how I found Pepperoni’s Pizza. It is located quite centrally in Melbourne, and have some great tasting pizza.
I went there quite late – past 10pm, and grabbed a quick bite to eat. They have one of the best tasting pizzas yet. I know Pizza Minded was excellent, but these guy’s are one step above. I know that may be impossible, after Pizza Minded received a perfect 10/10 – but it will have to do.
I ordered a Vegetarian pizza, and it was just mind boggling. At about $14.00 it was totally worth it. The girls that worked there were friendly, it was served gourmet style. For a small pizza place located in downtown, attended by “all sorts of people”, they have it good. Certainly a recommendation from Mr Feedback. Again, my interaction with them was based on 2 minutes of ordering, so I guess this review is largely based on their EXCELLENT TASTING PIZZA.
They are open 24 hours, which is handy for us late shifters, or anyone who gets hungry at odd times. They also have a delivery service. However, I don’t know about an adult club open just next to them, hmmm…! I guess more people means good for business.
Once again, there is no website. Online ordering is something almost all take away businesses should consider, especially for businesses with the type of volume like Pepperoni’s. Would make the whole process a lot more efficient, and easier. Also a menu will be available online for easy access to prices, toppings etc. Should invest in a basic website guys!

the people that work there are nice, but the manager who is there late at night and takes orders (some greek or italian noob) on phone at night is a complete dumbass and difficult to deal with (he’s got some serious issues)… and he’s always trying to rip you off small amounts, and if you catch him on it, he’ll try to sound like you’re making a big deal over pennies when in fact he is the one doing that
a complete teabag!!! tho the pizza is nice.
They do seem to have online ordering now, although i haven’t tried it as I don’t mind calling up.

They don’t deliver outside of the CBD. Mean!
Pepperonis pizza is by far THE WORST pizza delivery business in Melbourne.
It’s alright in the store, except the staff are rude and sleazy.
Several times I have had to wait extended periods of time to receive my delivery.
This evening I waited over 2 hours to get my pizza. When the delivery person got here, he tried to tell my boyfriend that the bottle of water he brought for us (which was a mistake, we ordered soda water) was complimentary… When we asked how much it was going to cost if the water was ‘complimentary’ he told us it was going to be the same price as what it would cost to buy the bottle of water.
WORST SERVICE EVER!
someone needs to open another 24 hour pizza delivery service. There’s no competition for it at the moment.
All they’ll be able to do is
1: bring what was ordered
2: bring it within an hour
This place is a joke! Yes the food may be good but the service is just TERRIBLE!!! We ordered food for delivery through menulog, the food took over an hour to arrive and the order was incomplete. The driver said that he would return with the rest within 10 mins! Over an hour later he arrived with it, we were not only done with the food but in bed!!! We asked for a refund for the outstanding items and were refused! I have tried to contact the manager numerous times – he has no intention of calling me back, taking a call and his puppets at the front desk say that they have nothing to do with refunds!!! BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT!!!
Yeah, I did go there some months after I first went there. The food was still good, but the service lacked a bit. Also, it is located next to some dubious businesses so I doubt I will go there again. It is now mainly marketed to late night city goers.
